  • Mike and I with Landscape Arch in the background. In the 1990's a large chunk of the arch fell to the ground and at its thinnest, I think its only three feet wide.

  • The Cliff Palace cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde National Park. A lot of people refer to these as "doll houses" but I assure you that they are much much larger than that.

  • Mike looking into a large canyon at Mesa Verde National Park. Many of the cliff dwellings were built into the sides of these canyons.

  • A view of some giant mountains during our descent from Mesa Verde National Park. If you look close enough you can see a city below the mountains.

  • A view down scenic US Route 163 as we entered Monument Valley. Probably one of the most famous roads in photography in the US.

  • A picture of me at Monument Valley with the giant buttes in the background. The visitor center at the park is located in a place with a great view of the park.
